Characteristics ~ ~ ~ ~
Liopleurodon would have been 8 meters long and weighed 17,000 pounds. It is probably the most well-known of the Pliosaurs, a subfamily of Plesiosaurs reptiles known for their long necks, like Plesiosaurus. that gave up those long necks for short ones. This change was due to a change in its die,t with pliosaurs from small fish to larger prey. Liopurodon's diet mostly consisted of other marine reptiles. 2 sets of flippers, with the larger one being in the front, and a short tail.

Walking With Dinosaurs Appearing in episode 3 Cruel Sea the Liopleurodon is ridiculously oversized. Reaching a length of 25 meters, the Liopleurodon is drastically larger than the larger end of Predator X's size estimates, which it was based on. You can see how ridiculous its size is when it snatches a 6 meter long full grown Eustreptospondylus, lifting it into the air before dragging it to the depths of the ocean
