Characteristics ~ ~ ~ ~
Although it has raptor in the name it is not related to any dromaeosaurids or megaraptorins. It's rather considered to be a more derived metricanthosaurid sharing much of the same physiology as the Morison formations Allosaurus. Like Allosaurus it had 3 digited claws, small crest above the eyes, and was around the same size with Sinraptor being 7.5 meters long and weighing around 1.3 tons. Both being the apex predator of their formation feeding on the local giant sauropods with Sinraptor hunting various sauropods like the giant Mamenchisaurus and Tienshanosaurus, as well as the diminutive Bellusaurus.
History & Fossils ~ ~ ~ ~
The type species dongi was named in honor of the eminent Chinese paleontologist Dong Zhiming. The second species was originally believed to be a species of Yangchuanosaurus; but after analysis, it was found to be closely related to Sinraptor. Similarly again to Allosaurus Sinraptor has been found with various pathologies like, tooth punctures, claw scratches and a partially healed broken rib. All caused by other Sinraptors likely in disputes over territory.

Jurassic World Alive Sinraptor in this game is an absolute monster. Possibly being the best omega creature in the game, Sinraptor has a base 140 speed and 2500 attack, annihilating anything slower than it (everything) unless it has priority. Also having moves that give bleed and affliction, it’s moves will always deal DOT damage over time, and it has 100% affliction on swap out.
